During a banquet, the goddess of Discord Eris, to avenge for not being invited to the wedding of Peleo with Teti, throws a golden apple from Esperidi’s garden to the Gods celebrating. Written on the apple is a dedication “To the most beautiful” which causes a furious argument between Era (queen of the gods), Afrodite (the goddess of beauty) and Atena who was the legitimate owner of the magical fruit. It was decided to ask Paris (Prince of Troy) his opinion. To influence his choice, the three goddesses promised him different rewards. Atena, victorious in all wars she would undertake. Era with infinite and unique powers and Afrodite, the love of Helen. Paris chose love and according to the legend, this episode determined the subsequent war of Troy, which led to the defeat of Paris and the destruction of his city..

In the shade of this magical tree, Merlin imagined for the first time The Round Table and Arthur’s whole journey to become king. Terrestrial Paradise with wonderful landscapes and juicy fruit to savour slowly. Light-hearted, Adam and Eve walked in the garden of heaven, the temperature was perfect and the ground soft and delicate. A wonderful dream until a serpent tempted Eve and convinced her to pick the forbidden fruit, the apple. The consequence was terrible with the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Eden.

William Tell Room

You will find in the William Tell room the elements of our Trentino and Val di Sole with its connections to the land and its origins with Agritur Il Tempo delle Mele. Spacious and with every comfort the William Tell room is a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy the nature outside from the large balcony, and inside the shades of brown and elegant furnishings in wood. The peculiarity of the lamps in wood, from extravagant shapes and designs, decorative pillows and comfortable ottomans, convey a sense of warmth and comfort. The natural flavours, sensitive fragrances and candles to liberate the mind. Follow William Tell’s arrow and abandon all thoughts and concerns as the thrust of the movement of the arrow reaches with force its goal.
According to the legend, William Tell, a family man and a skilled crossbow hunter, went to Altdorf with his son. While crossing the public square they ignored the Imperial Hat erected on top of a pole a few months prior by the bailiff Gessler. By the rulers wish, whoever does not bow in front of this symbol was faced with the confiscation of his property and in some cases, death. William Tell’s behaviour led to a summons to justify his act of not bowing. The bailiff proposed a challenge to the hunter that could safe his life: the test of the apple. The fruit was placed on his son’s head and the hunter was to centre it with an arrow from his crossbow. William Tell won the challenge and with another arrow was able to strike Gessler and liberate Switzerland.
